And in Washington? The U.S. financial system is collapsing. It survives only by printing money, and every new war is another excuse to keep the presses running.
Overlay these facts with history: Israel’s own intelligence services helped create and fund Hamas as a controlled opposition. Why? Because secular Palestinian movements were too strong, too democratic, too human. Hamas was easier to demonize, easier to manipulate.
